In 2014 the Toyota 5 Continents Drive Project began sending Toyota cars and employees out on the open road across Australia, North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. A team of photographers led by Mikiya Takimoto recorded the cars and those roads, resulting in a photo documentary of the very Earth itself. Presented in a slipcase, the “book” comes in an innovative format that puts works on loose pages so they can be taken in hand one by one for an intimate look.
